Money, money, money
People often say money is not important. There are things far more treasured in this world. Family, friends, loves, pride, etc. List them, I’m sure you can. So money isn’t everything, but everything is money. Ironically.
How often you felt that you wish to have more $$ to enjoy a luxurious living, somewhat a better life, somewhere just a lil’ above the average? An earning of 2k today, with a meagre increment next year, and the year after won’t help much. 2k may be a good value now, but inflation is around us. Years later, 2k could be worth only 1k or probably worst (lesser) of the current value. Enough to pay for your house, your car, your card debts?…. And, don’t forget that you still want to leave some for your luxurious lifestyle!!!
We often heard people making a mission statement, "I want to earn 100k by the age of 25." Just recently, someone shared with me a conversation he overheard from a bunch of fresh grads. The young man preached to the rest that they must achieve something fast, find a way to getting more $$, since there are so many competitive youngsters around. It’s like now or never moment thingy. Sound familiar? You probably used to be one of them yesteryears, and if you have made it, Congrats! But, frankly speaking how many of you out there walk the talk?
Take some time out today and reflect. Money isn’t everything, but everything is money. Good Luck!
