Pride ‘n Prejudice

What a romancing film. I never thought I’d watched such movie if it wasn’t because of a friend invitation to do so. Although the movie depicted background of English era and languages spoken in accent, it wasn’t stiff at all, added with interesting wits. Well, after a few similar incidents, I started to realize that one shouldn’t walk into the cinema with expected expectation for that particular movie. Sometimes our expectations are set way high, making it harder for the film to deliver the impact.

Same thing took place in romance department. Because of pride, people hold prejudice on others. That’s what this story evolved. Unless you let go, love will hinder from you.

Watching this movie recalled my memory of a recent article I came across in the paper and magazine. The headline sounds something like ‘Single women a lot in KL’, making it very competitive. The article further advised to encourage women to brave up to the guy of their liking before he’s being swipe away. OMG! I never know the situation is such disastrous. Of coz living in this modernization world, the 21st century, it’s not uncommon to have girl making the first move. But it puts me into wonder, what’s happening to the guy then? What have they been doing? Sleeping? Alo, alo… wakey, wakey! Wake up! And, being shy isn’t a good excuse either ‘coz girls are shy too.

I really don’t know. You tell me. What do you have to say on this? If you are a girl, would you walk up to him and confess? And if you are the guy, would you rather be happy to wait and accept the girl going after you?

p/s: Btw, this will be my last blog. Till we see again next year, have a good celebration ushering 2006. New Year, new beginning…. *wink*wink*

KONG

Went to the premiere last night. Was a great movie! Very entertaining! Albeit being glue to the seat for 3 hours, yes it’s a 3 hour flick, but it’s worthy to watch. You get everything within ONE movie, and that movie is KONG. Like its other counterpart movies, namely Titanic, Pearl Harbour and et-cetera, et-cetera…. love element will always in play, missing not in every single remake version. Yeah, so you got the usual ending… heroine and hero together in the end, of which, often gave the gals out there ray of hope that this fantasy dreamy kind of love will one day come to their life. Grow up gals… it only happen in movie. Fact is hard, I know. But it is 99% true anyway.

Okay, back to Kong. Yeah, king of all species and it is called King Kong. You’ve got lovey dovey scenes, what’s next? If you still haven’t got a chance for Jurassic Park, a damn old movie back in 90s, worry not. Kong is two thumbs up better than the original Jurassic Park. The carnivorous actions one after another, and you wonder when will it ends… but eventually, it will, trust me – coz there’s Kong, remember?

Compare to the dreadful version of Narnia, Kong is far more interesting. At one time, you nearly forgot what type of movie you’ve got. It’s so comedy, many silly actions, if you pay attention, and the lines are not bad. Serious, serious. You’ll definitely have a good laugh! I didn’t expect it to be.

Oh almost forgot! Be prepared also for some battling. Not those ordinary battles between Kong and homosapiens, but between human and err…insects, huge one. Scorpios, spiders, and a few others that I don’t know its name. Everything in that island is giant in size; just take a look at Kong you know. The tiniest ever, is human beings. So this fighting given the impression that it was adapted from ‘The Mummy’ or some other alien movie and the alike…got what I meant?

To summary, the show has love + action + comedy + sci-fi. plus, plus, plus. All sorts of blends, and trust me. Kong is definitely a recommended blockbuster not to be missed this season. You got nothing to lose anyway…. “all it takes is only the ticket price”. Oops… you’ll never know the meaning until you watch the movie. Go get your butt out now!

Santa Claus is coming to town

Never realize that we have arrived to the final month of 2005. Times flew really fast. Here I am in the month of December! Hooray.

Just completed company’s major event. Great show, of course, with star like me! Wuahahaha (can’t help,…and thanks to the rest who had helped out). A place with star shining is a great place to be at. Afterall, what’s greater than being happy? Ask me.

And being in December doesn’t meant everything is going to over. There are still plenty ahead. Plenty of jobs, bounty of responsibilities. For instance, merely 2 days away, be sitting for Japanese proficiency exam. Who would ever imagine that after leaving school or college 5 years ago, now still need to worry for test? Something to celebrate for, ‘chasing the midnight train, hoping to get at least a pass’ - a recollection of the past. Hope to score, hope to being lucky.

One after another. That’s how we got seasoned. When one thing ends, eventually, at the same time something has to begin. But for some, they have to juggle more than one, two or three at the very same moment. Incredibly super fantabulous marinating way of life. Happy, sad, happy. Rise and fall. But always learn to stand again, when you fall. Face it, challenge it and prove it to those who once think you are tiny. Feel them envy, when you feel proud for yourself. The joy of success in your fist grabs. Do I have one? Ask me.

It has been a long journey I’ve walked. I’ve achieve greatness and I’ve meet a lot of people. I feel good and I feel fulfill. It’s a good 2005, and it’s going double for 2006. Ooops…perhaps, too early for celebrations? Maybe… hehehe =P
