Chinese New Year Hair

Dsc_0135_1Norm is that New Year, new hairstyle. And I had got mine from Bangkok. I think so far, if there’s no wrong, it’s only me & Jenny has got it covered here, KL & PJ. Just us, with shiny strands tied to our hair.

Friends who were recently been to Bangkok, Chiengmai would have known that these shiny shiny things are now ‘in’ over there. Hmm, not sure if the wind will blow south to our country, maybe yes, another few months wait or maybe no.

I must say, both us catch many public attention ever since we are back, as though we are from another planet. Jenny is happy with lots of people complimenting her cool hair look, so ‘yeah’. Me too, lui. Worthy spent.

Wherever I am, people are asking. Encircle me like a specimen, studying the shiny shiny strands. Flooding me with plenty of questions - “How you did it, is it real hair, coloring or highlighting, where can they get it done here” and the list goes on. Few incidents while shopping at MNG, Jusco, etc., the staffs just couldn’t believe their eye, ask my permission to come for closer look & even touch my hair. Hehehehe… I found it so weird lor.

Now, maybe so many encounters already, we started to get a lil’ bit bored being in the limelight. Guess what Jenny been doing to her hair? She clipped and temporary hide them underneath. But then, we must agree that these shiny shiny hairs really look awesome when we were at Bar Club last Friday. They glitter when the lightings shine on us. Really ‘yeng’ hehehehe…. So, when’s next partying lui?

15 strands total, fallen out 3. As day goes by, they fall. Wonder if they could last until CNY? Maybe not so much left by then, but will still once again be interviewed by relatives & long-time-no-see friends. So, if y’all have read it here… try ask no more when we meet ok ;-)

And so here I wish everyone a very happy & prosperous Chinese New Year. Gong Hei Fatt Choy!!

Our long-waited BKK trip

Am back! Back to here, back from Bangkok!

Have been away for shopping holiday with the chimuis for the past few days. It was a fun trip that had gotten me forgotten the wishy dreamy thought earlier.

Out for shopping from morning until night, everyday. From Suan Lum to Jatujak to Siam Paragon to Jatujak again to Platinum Mall to Siam Square to MBK to Pratunam, and back to Platinum Mall again in the very early morning on the last day before flying back. We got a lot, very a lot of stuffs back with clothes being the most, follow by shoes, etc. Things that are same same found in KL are way too cheap cheap over there. How are we not tempted leh…

Food wise, Bangkok is a porky city. Pork delicacies is found anywhere on street from satay stick to sausages to McD burger. And we gals got to agree that the pork knuckles rice is so so so yummy!!! Yes! It’s so fattening yet so irresistable lah… can’t find in KL. And am lucky and happy to find back T&K seafood in Chinatown… for the sweet sweet ‘ho-ho-mei’ orange juice… can’t get in KL too. Oh the so ‘hang-fook’ feelings. Also, the new deep fried sushi roll from KFC…oooh…bite, bite, so crunchy… wish KFC here will sell that, hmm.

Yup! The trip is so shopping & food driven. We also went for massages, and to saloon to get our hair wash. Me & Jenny got shining strands onto our hairs… so cool and caught everyone’s attention when we touch down KL, wondering how did these 2 gals hair so glamorous hahaha…

There goes our trip, back to working world tomorrow. But, no worry Bangkok, we will be back!!! For more shopping and food of course… muaaahaaahaaaa

Sawadee ka 2008

For most, holidays had just over. For me, it hasn’t stop right here. Can’t wait, 9 more days from now ‘we are flying on a jet plane’. Didadidi…dadidadi.

Forget the past, it is 2008 now. It was quite unpleasant for last few weeks, thus I hope 2008 will bring peace to home and a guardian angel for the lucky star glow even when the sky fall dark.

Ushering in 2008, the whole family went countdown at Wynners concert except me. Not my cup of tea. Just feel like running away, rather being alone.

For every choice made, there’s consequence. As if things are preset to occur in such way. I enter into a world of fantasy, role-playing as one of those people from my faves.

It’s so mesmerizing, so ‘pride’ fireworks moment. As if, reunited after a long wait, ‘maybe’, enjoying the beautiful sparks blossom way up in the skies. Complete with all the gestures of care.

Little buddy, although not as cute as Yul, but walking in between gave ‘goong’ like feel. Surely it’s charming to let gaze into beautiful sparking eyes as if they can express words. Hmmm, the world is so nice to be wrapped in all these gentleness.

And with recent addition, isn’t it a spoilt for choice. ‘why why love’ is about picking up among choices. Desiring one, hope being with another. Who’s the one that will sweep your heart away?

….… after a while…. “Hey!” Wakey wakey. It’s the second day into 2008, still not have enough of daydreaming? Hahahaha….. too much dramas.

Well, it has been long since I write short love notes. Almost a decade now. Back then, I thought I’ll become a writer/novelist someday, but now I’m writing junks.

Anyway, thank you for a wonderful ending the year… or the beginning J

Happy New Year 2008!
